Halloween is right around the corner. Parties, exhibits and movie screenings are all around us remind us of the fast moving holidays approaching. I’ve been thinking of hosting a Halloween party this year. Possibly by next weekend if time permits. There are always all these stores to get props from. Smoke machines and skull cups are always a blast, but I need something else that would bring a non “corporate america” feel to the party. Then I thought about showing a screening of Murnau’s “Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror” to set the mood. The silent film is a classic to all movie lovers.
Max Schreck’s character, Count Orlok, is one of movie history’s most recognized character and can set a creepy mood at any party.

I ordered the film from buy.com and received it within 3 days. So if you are hosting a Halloween party this year, you might want to show Nosferatu in the background to give your guests something to talk about. You should order the DVD soon to have it in time for Halloween.
