Are ghosts haunting a North Carolina high school?

A local expert in the paranormal says she’s not ruling out anything.

Surveillance video at Asheville High caught the image of a shadow moving through the school’s hallways.

The motion activated recorder turned off for 24 seconds, meaning nothing was moving. Then, the shape appeared again above the elevator and traveled to the hallway.

The school’s spokesman won’t say it’s a ghost, but he won’t deny the possibility.

“I’m a logical person, and I wanted to be able to explain to these folks, or anybody, this is what I think it is. It’s a bat flying around here and it casts a shadow, but then why is the shadow down here from a different angle and it’s not in the shape of a bat?” said Charlie Glazener, the school’s public relations director.

The custodian also thinks there’s something other-worldly going on. He says he’s seen a lot of unexplainable things over the years, but he expects it in a building that’s nearly 100 years old.
