Ghostly figure of a cowboy filmed with cellphone

In a pub that’s supposedly haunted, locals managed to capture on video what they think is a ghost of a cowboy walking across from them.
What do you guys see on that video? a cowboy ghost? or some light flare on the lens?

From the start of the video, they are focusing their bad quality lens on what appears to be an open fire. From there the footage starts to move towards the left side of the screen producing what many in the pub are calling the cowboy ghost.

This reminds me of the “cowboy ghost” video we covered some weeks ago.

THE ghostly figure of a COWBOY walks in front of a roaring fire in a haunted pub and is caught on video.
Locals are convinced paranormal forces are at play and that the spooky sighting is definitely a GHOST.
Just visible is a Stetson style hat and a waistcoat.

Caught as pals tested out the video mode on a new mobile phone, the strange presence was NOT seen until the recording was played back.

And landlords have told of similar spooky goings-on in the same pub in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs.
Filmed by local Andy Willett and pals Macca and Vince Bundy, the bizarre footage spooked all three.

“It has to be a ghost,” Mr Bundy, 43, said. “There is no other explanation.”
“We didn’t see it while we were sitting there, only when we played the video.

“I couldn’t believe it.

“You can make out a hat and a waistcoat. I’ve never seen a video as clear as this before. It’s not a fake, it actually happened.”

The Tunstall pub called the Ancient Briton, now a derelict site after it was targeted by arsonists, was thought to be HAUNTED.

Mr Bundy, who has hung on to the footage for three years, said: “One previous landlord told a local his young son used to talk to ‘another little boy’.

“And one tenant’s child spoke of a COWBOY who used to pick-up his socks.”

Singer and UFO fan Robbie Williams used to live near the pub.

Yeah, the world should be dutifully notified. No more ghosts, UFO’s or bigfoot video’s are to be taken with cellphones, until cellphones and the camera’s in them are seriously improved. Thank you for your cooperation!

Ok, when they were taking the video on this, they guy in the chair kinda raises his eyebrows and then motions with his head towards the fire, smiling all the way, after the ghost. They said in the article statement, they didn’t see it until playback. Then you get the statement “You can make out a hat and a waistcoat. I’ve never seen a video as clear as this before. It’s not a fake, it actually happened.”

    Bollocks…

It seems that cellphone cameras have become the medium of choice for paranormal/crypto/UFO videos. Problem is, just like Gary pointed out above, that most of them are so poor that the images they produce are useless. In this one I saw something move away from the light, but I’m not an expert in these matters so I have no idea if it was some after effect from the camera catching such a bright light, a ghost or a puff of cigar smoke. As for a cowboy hat, waistcoat, etc…I saw none of that. Not even close.

I’ve sen enough pictures and videos of ghosts that I think are authetic to believe that the phenomena (whatever it is) can be caught on film. But I’ve seen ten times as many videos like this, which are so bad (or are just outright hoaxes) that they do nothing but damage serious efforts to capture ghosts on film. There’s no solution to the problem; as long as folsk have cameras we’ll see videos like this on YouTube. We just have to pay attention and focus on the ones that may be real and not just someone ina pub who has had a few too many.

Great point talthar, too many of these vid’s are from cellphones, and why not, they are portable, integrated into phones. Like you said though, phones have horrible resolution and thus, useless.

Focus must be put on discernable videos rather than useless ones.
