The basic structure in the photo my first thought and gut reaction was bear. The arch of the bodily form and the head in proportion to the body area I would have to say it is a bear. Bear or Sasquatch there seems like there would have been footprints of the animal in that area and nothing was mentioned about footprints being found or if any were looked for. If I were investigating this just after the photo footprints, hair on branches in the area, etc. would be the first things I would have looked for. Keep in mind when I investigate anything I look to debunk and rely on scientific evidence to come to determinations. With only this photo I would be hard pressed to come to another determination.

Gentlemen, I would question the validity of this picture de to the degree at which the camera is pointing and the degree at which the subject is pictured. I hope I am wrong but I use trail cameras all the time ad mine never takes pictures unless a heat source or motion causes it to do so. I would suggest you invest in the best trail camera out there called RECONYX and buy the RC55. Do not buy the covert as the IR is still seen by animals in all models. I have posted a video of my trail camera in action on youtube as well as other have to for you to review. I would HIGHLY suggest buying one! Good luck with your monster quest!

Gary,

I think I remember someone on a show saying that trailcams usually have anywhere from 10-100 ft range, if that is the case then maybe it was just enough to capture something.

I agree, the initial picture looks more like pareidolia in effect.
My initial reaction to the evidence was a non-impressed one, but you never know.

I'll keep you posted.

It's cool they contacted you with their concerns Jav, but it still remains that the trailcam picture is not going to win anyone's hearts or minds. The problem is that there is only one picture for starters (all you really need is one...a good one though). Next up, the picture currently is not discernable to be of any use. What good is it if you can't beat the skeptics back with it?

On the backside of all of this Jav I have the most curious of questions. Aren't these trailcams usually set up for motion detection? If so, that figure seems a hell of a ways away to set off a motion sensor. Most of the ones i have seen were on MonsterQuest, and those picture were usually short ranged. If they had them set up for timed shots, more power to them.
