Michael Jackson’s ghost: Leave me alone

Fast-forward to the 8:18 mark.

I guess it was just a matter of time, but the reports of people seeing the ghost of Michael Jackson are starting to trickle through the web.
The most popular one being that of the CNN/Larry King interview as seen above.

If you fast-forward to around the 8:18 mark, you see what many people are claiming to be the ghost of the “King Of Pop” walk through the opposite end of the hallway.

Did you see it? It’s silly, right?

It’s quite common to hear stories like these right after a famous person passes. From Elvis to Jim Morrison to Kurt Cobain, people always assume that the spirits of the recently deceased are automatically set to roam the earth.

If the western-world’s perception of death and the afterlife is true, then why would a tortured soul opt to stay in this earth and roam through its society from which it sought to escape from?

What does the “afterlife” mean to you? where do you think we go?

What I see in the above video is not the ghost of Michael Jackson. I see at the end of the hallway an empty room, with an extension cord on the ground and a camera/film light visible. The room seems to be illuminated by another light source. To me, it seems obvious that a person crosses one of the other light fixtures in the room and casts a shadow on the adjacent wall.

Leave Me Alone
Leave Me Alone-Stop It!

Just Stop Doggin’ Me Around
(Just Stop Doggin’ Me)
Don’t Come Beggin’ Me
Don’t Come Beggin’
Don’t Come Lovin’ Me
Don’t Come Beggin’
I Love You
I Don’t Want It
I Don’t . . .
I Don’t . . .
– Michael Jackson’s “Leave me alone”

You snagged this one before me Jav, I saw it and was gonna post it today, but alas, you got to it first. :)

Yeah I kind of find it humoress that whenever a celebrity dies the first thing that starts up is: Their ghost is roaming the halls of their homes, the haunts (pun intended) they liked to go to during life, and of course the obligatory “They visited me that night after they died”.

And of course, I came to the same conclusion after seeing the ‘ghost’. Either someone walked in front of a light or a long stretch of windows and the casted a shadow from sunlight.

  • Gary,

Hahaha. I was up early today.

Like I told you, I went kayaking yesterday and came home and passed out all day.

Thanks for publishing this. A friend of mine asked me about whether or not this was real, but I had not heard even heard of it. Of course, the first place I checked to get the straight story was Ghost Theory!

gee, how did we all know!?

  • So I go running tonight, and pass through the Nokia/L.A. Live center….my god. So many people already lined up for the Michael jackson memorial tomorrow. Cops everywhere, tourists, news crews from all over the world.

I better leave for work really early tomorrow in order to make it out of downtown L.A.

It’s gonna be wall to wall coverage on tv today. Kinda cool you got to see it before it all started.

  • BC,

man, I’ve gotten about 3 hours of sleep. The constant hovering of the helicopters kept me up most of the night. Not to mention the cop cars and their sirens….

    It’s crazy.
