Im content that this is a guy in a furry suit, crawling on all fours.

You may not think he moves right...but of course not, a man on all fours doesnt move right anyway. Its not a movement we are used to seeing, or doing. I see no tail, I see no long snout, but I do see ears.

The first three steps made by the creature are the clearest, and look most like a guy on all fours. When he begins to move, his rear-end shifts to the right causing a brief moment of sideways crawl (common to primates...such as a guy in a suit).

As it gains speed, it is still moving slow and clumsily. This is indicative of movement that isnt naturaly effortless to perform...just as it is not for a bipedal trying to run on all fours.

Straight up though - this creature is slow. In the film, if we are to believe this was an attack charge, the creature never really gains much ground when he charges. Because we never see the creature move any faster, than a man crawling on all fours could possibly move. This of course is the opportune time for our cameraman to begin his frantic run. Instilling the illusion of being chased.

The creature was not of unusual size and appeared to be about not much more than 30 yards from our cameraman. Maybe 40. From the creature's first steps, it takes 11 seconds until we see the teeth.

11 seconds?...cmon. Lets look at this closely. Nearly every predatory animal on the planet, can cover greater distances in less time than that. Way less time. And this was supposed to be an attacking charge?? But perhaps we ought take into account the additional distance that our cameraman possibly ran, in order to get away. In this case, he wouldve ran for 6 seconds. In 6 seconds, the average guy could probably cover about 40 yards. So lets say total distance the creature gave chase for was 80 yards from start to finish. 80 yards in 11 seconds. 80 yards total distance, in 11 seconds total time.

Seriously? - High School track stars often run the 100 yard dash in 11-12 seconds. So our creature cant seem to run much faster than a High School kid?? Im not buying it.

Bringing us to the final drama, the moment we see the creature's mouth and teeth. Well, some of you guys were wondering where this guy's dog was in all of this. Our cameraman runs a little bit, shakes his camera a little bit, and then the camera is put in the dog's mouth in some fashion. Or perhaps as the picture stabilizes in the final seconds, the dog is commanded to jump up and bite the camera.

Nonetheless, our creature's teeth---> are the dog's teeth.

Take it as you will, I vote hoax...and not a very elaborate one at that.

i belive this creature may be real. i am not saying that the vidio is real but the creature is. any one who had the right timing on the attac is either insain or hoaxing it. the attac vidios are probably hoax to get some money, but the beast is real. i have had my own experiences withe the said paranormal, abnormal, and cryptic. thare are the people out thare who are non belivers and there are people out thare who are believers. but the truth will come out when the creature wants to be seen, or when science out smarts us all.

Perhaps the beast depicted in the Gable Film if it is real was an experitment gone awry, conducted by the U.S. military to clone a wolf and a man for the purposes of creating a new combat vehicle to send out into enemy territory to soften up the resistance so that troops coming after them would face less resistance and suffer fewer casualities. We could use a clone like that in Iraqi or Afganistan and I am certain the military commanders would not hesitate to use it in those theaters of war. Don't ask me how the Dogman could be controlled. If you can clone it, you can control it.
I came across a website a month ago that had a news article on this very subject of animal/human cloning. It seems that a science laboratory, I forget its name, was conducting an experitment, trying to clone a man and a cow or a goat and a unnamed congressman was trying to introduce a bill in Congress to prohibit such activity. Talk about vile. It seems that man wants to play God or the Creator. People are seeing this Dogman creature all over the United States, so I doubt it is a mass hallucination. This Gable film apparently is from the early 1970's. If I had that type of skill back then i would have cashed in on it afterall, it's the American way, practicing free trade and Capitalism in a open market place. The Gable film is troubling. I would like to see some involvement by major American universities using a scientific protocol for in-depth investigation of the Gable film and the Dogman anomalies. Until some irrefutable evidence is introduced into this controversy, one way or the other, it will remain a mystery.

Scott,

Thanks for that comment. It's definitely a plausible scenario.
I think this will always just remain a controversial film, since there are no updates, no witnesses. The few that are out there have not come forward.

I suspect that it is a dog being called back to the truck by it's owner. My son has made films of our dog looking like it is attacking him, by hiding a cookie in his hand and filmimg the dogs attempt to get it from him. We have a large mut and the film looks very disturbing. I wouldn't dare post it on Youtube, fearful the authorities would believe that a boy is being attatcked. If he faked his death in one of his short films, it would appear very real. Having said that, I do have an experience to share that may shed light on the first film.
One day, I started to walk across my yard with a shovel full of loose stones, to toss it into the Woods about 100 feet away. I only walked ten feet or so, when a large black furry object ran out of the woods toward me. It was low to the ground, gaining on me fast, it was heading straight for me, and I had know idea what I was looking at. My mind decided that it was my black dog, and he had been stung by so many bees that he had swollen far beyond his normal size. I even called to it by my dogs name as it closed in on me. Then I became absorbed in the long waving hair that moved the opposite of it's galloping body (like the way a skunks hair moves when it hussles). Then I became absorbed in the huge muscles that rythmically flexed and relaxed from front to back as it galloped. Finally, having watched it come at me with no fear, at about ten feet away, I noticed the huge wet dog like nose, then everything behind the nose suddenly turned into a bear.
My first thought was "Oh my God, the Boogie man is real!". The fear was so powerful that I had what I would call an out of body experience. Most of my being was out of my body off to the right of me, about 30 feet above the ground. The only thing left for the bear was a shell of my existence. My perception of what was happening from the shell of my existence was reduced to a one dimentional enviornment. It was like a page in a book, and all that could happen on one page had come to an end.
It reminded me of what a weasle does to mezmorize a rabbit. It behaves sort of crazy and presents angles of itself that the rabbit doesn't recognize. The bear camoflouged himself from me until he was right on me.
Now, this is going to sound strange, but I had an intense dream the night before that a huge bear chased me up my stairs within the house, and I barely got away. A few hours later, and I am running up the stairs leading to my back door, barely getting away. The bear looked as confused by however I appeared to him after I left the scene via an out of body experience, leaving little behind for him to take. I believe that I became the weasle and he was the rabbit.I had become something that he didn't expect.
This is a true story that is really more about consiousness, percertion, and even shape shifting, than a story about a bear charging someone. My emotions were very deep and intense, and I'm sure the bear's were too. Amazing things happen when high energy emotions are at play and the stakes are life and death. I can only imagine the realities known by the native americans who were constantly entwined in a very intimate relationship with the natural world. The film offers a great lesson in perception.

Jurmaine,

You hired a cryptozoologist? The ones I know of examine video/photos for free. That's what they do.

But yea, the video is very odd. No information is known about them, or the origins of the GF2 video. If it's a hoax, then what's the purpose of it? and why just now?

I'm a person who's studied the gable film various times over and I've even hired cryptozoologist and animal specialist to look at the film and they all said the samething. Not saying that it's a werewolf in the film, but whatever it is, it's very real. They both said that it seemed to shift shape from two legs to four legs and the way it moves, my doctor saw the film as well and he said himself that no human could move in that way. There's alot of unknown creatures out there that the world isn't ready to meet yet. People may not believe in werewolves, but there are some people out there like me, who's seen things in person with our own eyes that's scared the shit out of us all.

I've looked at the film way to many times and it still creeps me out.

I worked in exotic pet rehabilitation for many years. That is when people buy exotic animals as pets and either can't care for them, abuse/neglect them or break the law keeping them. We would be the ones who took the animals, evaluated their chances, placed those we could in zoos etc., or rehabilitated those that needed it. I personally worked with wolves and wolf hybrids but there were large primates there in another area which I visited often. For a few months there was a large older silverback mountain gorilla. He had been kept in a dog kennel for several years and was very aggressive, even with other gorillas. I'm sorry to say that he was deemed "un-savable" and was euthanized. While he was there I did learn that gorillas do eat meat and can even become cannibalistic. I also learned that they can rip a grown mans arm off, or at least that's what the primate handler told us. We had to stay 10 feet from his enclosure because he was so dangerous. I worked there for years and never was afraid of any creature like I feared that guy. He seemed to exude hatred.

Anyway, what I saw in the gable film looked like a very aggressive large male gorilla. There are times it appears to shift or something but I believe that's a trick of the old film with larger pixels or something. If a gorilla had escaped it would likely become very aggressive out of fear and hunger.

I'm not saying it's real, I have no idea about that. but it does look real to me and does look like a gorilla.

Have there been any updates about it ? I understand the films were seized by Michigan State police to determine whether they were a hoax or not.

The first gable film depicts a unknown animal. Definitely not a cougar or mountain lion of which there are few in Michigan. Does not move like a mountain lion, has pointed spread ears and a long muzzle. Is a bulky, stocky animal and its fur appears thick and stringy and dark unlike the close cropped coat of a fawn colored cougar. I live in the Los Angeles area of Santa Clarita and we have many mountains living on the fringe of the city. This animal, I repeat is not a mountain lion. Film looks real and if it is a fake its a masterpiece of deception. That damn thing is scary and I'd take care walking in the woods until it can be determined if this thing is real or illusion.

Gable film two: Those cops at the crime scene and this is a homicide, make no mistake about it, do not act like cops, no side arms and they are not assuming the law enforcement stance which is taught in all of the academies. LAPD, Sheriffs, marshals. And where is the shotgun? If your conducting a crime scene investigation and have a half torn body in your midst, I'd have fire power at my disposal. Afterall, you don't known what your dealing with. Most patrol cars carry a shotgun. I know they did in Detroit where I grew up, 12St at Webb. This is my take: Gable I looks legit, Gable II looks bogus.
