OK, so at first I read that a new reality TV show was being pitched called “Paragators”.

Paranormal Alligators! DAMN!

Move over Ninja Turtles, this is gonna be my favorite show.
Then sadness struck when I read more into it. Paragators. Paranormal Investigators. Para…gators…. get it? Man, are they clever.

So yea…. Cops/Scientists go paranormal investigating.

Who will pick them up? A&E ? HBO? Telemundo ?

Do they still show the old-school Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoons? I miss them.

Now, from the creative mind of Rob McConnell comes a new television show that put the REAL back into REALity TV.

Now, from REL-MAR McConnell Media Company and SEFX3D Films join actual police investigators / detectives and members of the scientific community join forces to investigate claims of the paranormal on a new, exciting & dynamic television show, PARAGATORS, which will be coming to the international airwaves in the Spring of 2010. From the claims UFO sightings, alien abductions, cattle mutilation, ghosts, hauntings, psychic abilities, out-of-body experiences, near-death experiences, the End of the Mayan Calendar in 2012, the Biblical End Times, prophets and their prophecies to new age spirituality and alternative medicine. Join seasoned investigators, detectives as scientists as no other show in television history has been able to present as PARAGATORS put the REAL back into Reality TV!

REL-MAR McConnell Media Company and SEFX3D are proud to announce that Brian O’Odea, the creator of “Creepy Canada” has joined the PARAGATORS production team and will be the co-executive producer of PARAGATORS with Rob McConnell, the host and series creator. Rob McConnell worked with Brian O’Dea in Creepy Canada for 3 seasons. Creepy Canada has been viewed on CTV, Discovery, OLN and TLC.

Join Canadian Broadcaster, Researcher, Publisher, Journalist and Former Police Officer Rob McConnell as he investigates claims of the paranormal with his highly trained team of Police Investigators, Forensic Detectives and acclaimed Scientists. Join Rob McConnell and the PARAGATORS as they travel the world investigating what others have claimed to be REAL paranormal events. Their findings will astound viewers from around the world, turning skeptics into believers and believers into skeptics. Watch for PARAGATORS from your local television station, television network and satellite programming provider.

REL-MAR McConnell Media Company is an international multimedia company with offices and studios in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada (www.rel-mar.com).

REL-MAR McConnell Media Company President & CEO, Laura E Rogers said, “The time has come for a TV series that will take the ‘woo-woo’ out of the so-called claims of the paranormal, present the case facts in a professional and realistic manner, dispel the hype and myths, leaving only the facts. Without a doubt PARAGATORS will be the “benchmark” show for all other paranormal TV programming.”

Among the team of police investigators, forensic detectives and scientists that PARAGATORS have brought on board for their expertise include, Dr. William Schneid, PhD – Criminologist; Dr. Michael Stone, MD – Forensic Psychiatrist; Dr. David Gruder, PhD – Psychologist, just to name a few.

    Alinormals? Investinormals? Normalgators?

There is being original with names. Then there is horrible. This shows name is just being originally horrible.

Hmmm, hope it will be a unique format for the show, tired of same old formats of other shows, seems past show investigators go to the same old “haunts” in the U.S., gets boring when I hear about the Waverly house, Myrtle plantation,Estes Park, etc.

  • One can only hope that this will be free of the disinformation so prevalent in the investigative shows like those on the History Channel. It should be really interesting to see scientists and criminal forensic people divulge the truth about things like the Bible end of time prophecies and other end of the world prophetic predictions … especially when world religions have been trying to solve these mysteries for centuries. Somehow, it appears they have taken the Paragator just a wee bit too far.

a whole bunch of supposedly ‘open minded’ folk don’t believe scientific evidence as it is, so good luck with the whole “divulging the truth” thing.

most people won’t accept the truth even if it smacks them upside the wrist (sorry, catholic school leftover)

“the truth is heavy, that’s why so few carry it.”

i can’t remember who said that, but it rocks.
