hon,

There are quite a lot of BF sighting reports over at BFRO. I grew up in NWPA and spent a great deal of time in the woods. I've also seen some strange things including a black panther.

One strange thing is that this is supposed to be an October sighting but the picture has no "fall color". It's almost like there is a filter on the camera.

looking at this does give a appearance of something standing by a tree, but these woods can be very deceiving. i live in northern dauphin county, just a stones throw from the trails they were on. most people who live in this area have been at one time or another, this is a well hunted area also for deer, fowl, and bear. although people travel more north for the bear. we have alot of state game lands that intertwine here also. i've heard lots of reports of strange things being seen in these mountainess woods, but this is the first i've ever heard of a possible bigfoot. many people have spotted bob cats, which the game commission insists there aren't any in this area. most people that live here don't usually report sightings of strange things they see in the mountains to the media. it's kind of just their way. alot don't trust outsiders, so to speak. the summer of 2008, my son who is near 30 years old told me he was up on the trails biking with a co worker and up ahead they came upon a emu. as they got closer to it, it started runing, and just as they got within a few yards of it, it darted off to the side into the brush. this is true. nothing was reported of anyone seeing this in the media. we just pass these kinds of things to each other. rarely to the newsreporters. i figure there are alot of farms and homeowners with a bit of land that raise different animals. the emu was probably just a escapee, although there was no report of one missing. personally i am open to a possible bigfoot, since there have been so many reports of sightings all over the u.s.a., by many a reputable source. but i too will wait for the positive proof.

To me it looks like a garden gnome. (The point of its hat being approx. in the middle of the frame just above the horizontal branch.)

jbondo,

I tried to make out the shape, but didn't get past thinking it looked like a tree.

I doubt anything concrete will come out of this video.

This one is a little tough. I blew it up and did some adjusting on it but couldn't get anything concrete.

It's either a hairy creature or a tree. Seems as though it has a flat top haircut though.
