I have been searching for this creature for some time now. I have seen what I believe to be a Sasquatch or maybe more than one at my home location in the Eastern foothills of Kentucky. Myself and some great friends have put together a website dedicated to the research of this creature. We have 4 night vision cameras located here on my property that stream live to our website 24/7. We change no fee for watching the live video feed, or for being a member of our research team. We have a lot of video’s recorded on our site that still cannot be explained. This is a great site for those who are unable to make it into the fields to sit at home and watch a live feed of an area where a lot of strange things indeed do happen. I look forward to seeing you on the site in the future.

I couldn’t agree more on the way research is done sometimes. On the documentary Bigfootville about southeast Okla, they put out some bait and set up some cameras in what they believed to be a high-traffic area.

Unfortunately the ONLY night they set up to film, the worst ice storm the state had seen hit and no creatures were out and about. (I was living in OK at the time and believe me- that storm was like nothing we had ever experienced).

Now, common sense would dictate they would try again another night when the ice had melted and things returned to normal. But they didn’t- they just gave up.

I’m sure there must have been other factors preventing them from trying again, but I was baffled at their lack of persistence.

I read your post, good stuff.

I just saw the MonsterQuest episode “Abominable Snowman”. I can’t believe it was 2 hours.

It was good. Brings hope on identifying this creature. Whether it’s the Himalayan Snow bear or the Yeti, they are doing some great research work.

LOL about the grilling comment. I agree with you about the researching techniques and how it should be done. (or, rather, could be done better.) I have a story planned about how this could be done MUCH better. (In fact, I have one of your posts down to reference because I like what you said about the scientific theory.) And I also agree that Bigfoot is an interesting thing to investigate. I believe it will end up being discovered. In fact, I wrote a blog about that right before I went on vacation actually. (Myth Monsters That Will Likely Be Proved Real) Another great article!

I subscribe to the Keel theory that these ABSM’s, as Ivan Sanderson called them, are only temporarily solid physical beings. There are just too many stories of these things vanishing when there is nowhere to go, too many stories of footprints that just end, as in snow or deep mud like at the Utah skinwalker ranch. Sure they exist for a time, and then they go “elsewhere”. I even think that all paranormal phenomena could be different forms of the same thing.

I have been a investigator for over 8 years now, not a arm chair researcher, I’m out in the field all i can be. In A way Javier is right, you have to invest time at a “haunted” location. We PI-NE don’t go one night for a few hours and say it’s not, or is haunted like you see on TV. We go back many times to the same location and sometimes after a few investigations, things start to happen and we do get possible evidence to support that location might be haunted. As for Bigfoot, we are working on a case here in Vermont that we have a few things we are calling evidence. Tracks, that go on for more then 2 miles into a swamp and of Corse, we can’t go further then that, or at least not now. we have photo’s of the tracks and it’s “nest”. Sounds have been heard by the nearby neighbors‘ I hope to one day get this creature on film and maybe one day have a few well known debunkers to join us on a investigation to see this creature themselves.
