Chippenham, Wiltshire UK. Strange orange globes were spotted above the town of Chippenham in the early hours of Monday November 30 2009. A few residents contacted authorities to report the strange sightings in the sky.
“My daughter and her boyfriend were walking home from a party , she rang me to say go outside. She could see orange objects in the sky, seven of them, flying along, no noise, they all stopped still and then continued,”
There have been a few UFO sightings throughout 2008 and 2009.

Mystery lights in the skies above Chippenham in the early hours of Sunday morning have left people wondering if the town was visited by UFOs.
Dewi Jones of Chippenham said he noticed a series of bright orange orbs in the sky just after midnight on Saturday.
He said: “I had let the dog out in the garden when I noticed some strange lights in the sky over Chippenham. Strangely, they seemed to be flying in what I would describe as a formation, one behind the other and they appeared to be a uniform distance between them.
“They appeared not to be too high in the sky but did not make any sound.
“The sound of the Hercules and other aircraft that fly over Chippenham are distinctive, but there was certainly no sound from these moving lights.”
He added: “They appeared to be flying over Chippenham from the Calne direction and then over Lyneham road turning right towards Lyneham.
“They appeared to be circular in shape giving off a bright orange light which didn’t flicker at all, just a constant glow.
“There were no aircraft flashing lights on any of them.”
Mr Jones sent a picture of the orbs he took as they sped away.
Pam O’Donnell contacted the Gazette to say her daughter had also seen the lights.
“My daughter and her boyfriend were walking home from a party , she rang me to say go outside. She could see orange objects in the sky, seven of them, flying along, no noise, they all stopped still and then continued,” she said.
“I looked out with my daughter and we saw two of them going over, fast, no noise then they just disappeared.
“Research on the net shows similar sightings in chippenham, ufos? Military stuff? They can’t be Chinese lanterns as surely they wouldn’t all stop in a line then continue?”
Richard Hucker of Chipenham also got in touch. He said: “I counted 29 orange Balls travelling south nto north between 12.10 and 12.25 am when I was out having a cigarette before going to bed.
“The lights had no sound with them were just below the cloud cover and were not moving with the direction of wind or cloud.”

I have noticed that there have been more sightings this year and I can’t help wondering if we’re all about to get the ultimate question answered. ARE WE ALONE?
Sighting in South America during Daylight is a sign in my opinion and I think that nexy year will hold a lot of surprises for everyone.
What’s going on in Chippenham?
A similar sighting to that of 30 November 2009 occurred at around between 00:15 and 01:00 on 1 January 2010, New Years day. The moon was full and the sky was clear with the exception of wispy sporadic low cloud.
One orange globe silently overflew Chamberlain Road at an estimated altitude of 1000 feet, proceeding towards Corsham from the direction of Lyneham. It was moving at a constant speed and eventually disappeared into low cloud.
Around ten minutes later two other orange globes followed from the direction of Lyneham at about the same height and at a speed similar to that of a helicopter. These globes moved in a fixed staggered formation towards Corsham where they were joined by a third globe, all separated by what seemed to be a distance of about ¼ mile.
All three remained motionless over Corsham for several minutes until the orange glow began to fade and the objects disappeared.
Perhaps this is just the US air force testing its stealth craft from Lyneham ?

One of you should have shot at the “orb” and captured the aliens. Then proceeded to probe them (you know where) to show them how that actually feels.
I hope the aliens don’t read this comment and come after me with a lubricated probe, that would be awkward.
Cheers.

Wow, that is truly astonishing. I wish I had been able to see that,
but I am fairly certain it must have been visitors from beyond the
moon. I was once in Kenya (as I do a fair amount of work overseas) and
as I was walking from the pub back to my hotel in Nairobi I saw a
similar orange-ish orb formation. Then there was a very bright and
intense white light. The next thing I remember, I was laying on the
side of the street looking up to a crowd of people. I was stark naked
and had pains all throughout my body. It was a very harrowing
experience that I haven’t been able to get over completely.
I know this story may sound unreal, but I swear it is true. I don’t
know exactly what happened, but I will never forget that day. Ever
since that day I have believed in aliens. I’m not crazy, but I think
something horrible happened that day.
I don’t think it an aircraft from the US, because they would test it
in the United States, maybe over Iowa or possibly the southeastern
corner of North Dakota.
On another note, its really interesting that we have the same name,
where are you from originally? I’ve never actually met anyone with the
same name. My parents are Polish, but they immigrated to the US a long
time ago.
