The Alan Godfrey abduction case was one of those UFO cases that freaked me out as a kid. I remember first hearing about this case through Sightings or Unsolved Mysteries. I can’t remember which one, but I saw this late one night and has since stuck with me.

Alan Godfrey was a police constable working in West Yorkshire, England. Godfrey had witnessed a strange UFO hovering above a desolate road one night. Alan, still in his car, decided to sketch the UFO craft on his pad when all of the sudden the craft zoomed off. His abduction case is came to light when he underwent a few hypnotic regression session after having reported a few strange incidents in which he remembered experiencing the loss of time. What came out of those few sessions, has become since one of the biggest controversy in the annals of Ufology.
