NatGeo’s: Hunt For The Abominable Snowman

That’s tonight folks. National Geographic will be airing its segment on the Yeti on the new show called ‘Expedition Week’. Gerry Moffatt is the host of this show. An experienced climber and explorer, Moffatt makes his way through the Himalayas in search of the Abominable Snowman. A.K.A. The Yeti.

Although very little evidence about the Yeti has surfaced from this region, it’s the eyewitness accounts that sometimes give you more of an insight as to what it is that many people, from different walks of life, have witnessed in these remote mountains.

Excited? You should be.

Here is your homework assignment GT readers:

1. Watch the show airing at 9pm PST
2. Have a snack
3. Exercise those critical thinking muscles and judge for yourself: Can a creature like the Yeti exist?
4. Pet your dog or cat
5. Report back here

This should be an interesting show. I got my TiVO ready to go.

Across the Himalayas are stories of the yeti, or abominable snowman. Half man, half ape, the yeti is said to roam only the most remote peaks, where people rarely venture. Now, veteran explorer and climber Gerry Moffatt sets out to find proof in a hunt that will test his stamina. As conventional scientific theories challenge ancient beliefs and credible witnesses, he works to separate fact from fiction and find hard evidence that the legend is real
