A strange video from NBC News SkyCam at Fort Worth, Texas, has surfaced on the web. The video shows a live traffic shot in the Fort Worth area at normal speeds. In the far horizon, you can clearly see a white light descending towards earth at an incredible speed only to make an impossible sharp turn, right back towards space.

Other than unfairly calling this a hoax, I don’t have any explanation for this video. It’s quite clear that this is no “space rock” or known aircraft. Maybe some military exercise, like test firing of ballistic missiles could explain this. But that is not convincing enough to me because why would its flight pattern be in that manner? Maybe it misfired.

Maybe one of you GT readers might have a better explanation to this video.
