Video: Is This The Ghost Of Princess Di?

Posted by Scott McMan | January 19, 2012 14

Apparently Lady Diana Spencer, Princess of Wales is hanging out in Glasgow these days and when I say hanging, I mean that literally…as in a hanging stained glass window.

Diana was known as being the people’s Princess. A selfless woman, devoted to charities and an outspoken opponent of land mines, She was more than an addition to the Royal family, she had the love of admirers from around the world.

Most are aware of her tragic death resulting from a car accident. “On 31 August 1997, Diana was fatally injured in a car crash in the Pont de l’Alma road tunnel in Paris, which also caused the death of her boyfriend, Dodi Fayed and their driver, Henri Paul, acting security manager of the Hôtel Ritz Paris.” While conspiracy abounded, the crash was likely due to a combination of things, including a pursuing Paparazzi.

According to ghost investigator Michael Cohen, contacted by a group of Chinese tourists, the anomalous vision was discovered while shooting video in a Glasgow, Scotland church.

As the shooter pans across the back of the Cathedral, stained glass windows come into view. While the camera passes over a centrally located window, the eerie and unmistakable likeness of Princess Diana is displayed on the glass.

So, is this truly Britain’s beloved Lady Di or just some sort of illusion? I can honestly say, it does bare a striking resemblance. However, in these days of photo and video manipulation, we can never tell what’s real, imagined or just manufactured.

Take a look at the video below and draw your own conclusions:

As conspiracy theorists still debate the true cause of the 1997 crash, we now have something new to add to the mystery.

Many questions arise, the most obvious is why Scotland? Rather than waste your time asking anything further, I’ll leave it you the readers to figure out.

Again I ask, is it real, imagined, or manufactured? You be the judge….

Thanks to our own Valkyrie for tipping me off to this story.

I grew up in rural NWPA, surrounded in forest. I took an early interest in cryprozoology and sharks and have read many books on various crypto subjects such as Bigfoot and Megalodon over the years. I am not a professional writer or a journalist, but I do the best I can. I have a quirky, obscurely dry and sometimes sarcastic sense of humor than can get me in trouble. Some love me and some hate me, but I am who I am.

She appeared to Chinese tourists, in a church in Scotland. Sure, it’s probably her. Fo’ sho’.

  • Ramon

If we knew what church it was, we could compare it to the window. Now we are left with something we cannot conclude anything from.
I am thinking towards some holy figure depicted on the glass who resembles Diana. How about Mary? With a cape? I dunno. But no, i am NOT thinking of a reincarnation of Diana…

  • Brain Cell

It looks like a woman with a tiara on, but the whole resolution looks wrong.

Don’t use the pictures, watch the video starting at :44 and see how the image is very crisp compared to the stained glass below it, then it fades out of view as camera pans.

Looks like a woman, resembles Diana, so it must be fake in my opinion.

My biggest question is “Why would Diana’s image appear for a few seconds on the window of a church in Scotland to a bunch of Chinese tourists who aren’t even looking in her direction but panning the camera with no point of focus?”

The only logical answer is: she wouldn’t.

  • Black George

Not sure I follow your reasoning there, Brain Cell:
Looks like a woman, resembles Diana, so it must be fake in my opinion.Do you mean this as a reason it’s fake in the context of the previous paragraph or is it meant to stand on its own? If the latter: if the image were androgynous and resembled someone else would it then not be fake? Just making sure I understand what you’re saying.

Okay folks, i found the church:

Now all we need to do is find photos of all the stained glass windows involved with this video.

Photo from Govan Old Parish Church:

I’m still looking for a better copy.

Brain Cell was on to something … it just doesn’t look right. I’m calling it a poor quality hoax.

  • Valkyrie

    PCWilliams, you’re the best.

  • Black George

Brain Cell: Wow. That kind of response to a simple request for clarification? I thought I wrote nothing insulting and certainly meant no offense, but looks like I did one or both anyway — so, all apologies.

  • Scott McMan

You’ve said nothing wrong here and need apologize to no one. You have a valid thought process.

We do not condone what Brain Cell wrote and as you can see, it’s been deleted.

Brain Cell, I think you get the idea here. You said something that was completely uncalled for and out of context.

Please be careful with how you react in certain situations. If George had said something else, your comment might have been OK but in this case, no.

  • Kimm

Sure looks like someone took this video ( and taped a black and white photo of Diana on there. Surprised people are even questioning the authenticity of this. It looks so amateur.

I think it’s just a trick of the eyes paired with poor lighting. You can make assumptions out of the most ordinary things. A shadow is on the wall, but no one walked by the window. Ghost? No, some one walked by across the street. Think logically before jumping to ghosts and paranormal, please. Grain of salt, people. Grain of salt.
