Makes me wonder, their persistance in pursuit of our actually spoken permission to do something/enter/approach or whatnot, sounds as if they actually need to HEAR our official word allowing them to do whatever they are asking about before they can, as if they are restricted before that…

It is mentioned here and there that they almost seem predatory, but if that would be the case, they wouldn’t go around approaching people face to face asking for things or favors, they would sneak up on unsuspecting (potential) victims most likely under the cover of darkness at night to do their own bidding, that is if we’re referring to physical aspect of being a predator-like entity, I don’t recall any incidents of lions asking a zebra for a permission to sit nearby so they can attack

Pretty unsettling story about your grandfather. As a kid, I lived four miles from River Road in the Marine’s story and some odd things happened while living there.

You know, it’s weird. The story he told us always seems so unreal, so …out there.

It wasn’t until I read the BEK story from Paranormal.about.com that something clicked. So I remembered his story and figured that it might be a BEK related incident.

That or some poor kid was dropped on his head 50 years ago…

I was thinking of doing a story on this too, Javier!

I think the whole black eyed kids/people thing has to have some legitimacy to it. We as people, talk to one another in everyday fashion by looking at someone’s eyes, every time, if even in glances. It’s how we communicate as we read expressions and reactions in the face. I could not believe someone can mistaken the fact of someone having pitch black eyes who they are talking to. In many of these stories and instances, the people who experience BEK’s are usually alone which is creepy enough.

I wonder if the insistance of these BEK’s is more a less an act of pushing an invitation, so to speak. ‘Invite me into your home’ or ‘Invite me to be around you’. Seems demonic, and that could be what it is. Your Grandfather is probably lucky he went with his instincts.

It’s just another example of someone trying to capitalize on the popularity of para-celebs and TV shows.
Trust me there are lots of real investigators (my group included) who are out there helping people and experimenting with real field tested theories and experiments. And the last thing we would ever want is to end up on a show with someone like this guy and his ‘parabot’!

Somehow this reminds me of those cargo-cultures from the pacific. This guy saw that amazing documentary Ghost Busters and thought; If I build a box that looks and behaves like that box they used in the documentary than what else can it do but work and catch ghosts…?

Imagine this guy is actually spending money on a plexiglass box with lasers on top. When or why did he came up with that idea? Sitting there all doctor Evil like stroking his who knows what, looking at that dull plastic phone booth. It already has a Tesla coil, it has a clock on top, I’ve done the fancy doors but still I miss something…. No wait, I’ve got it! Gentlemen, we need a giant “LASER”!

I saw that eppy of Ghost Adventures and didn’t believe a word of what this man had to say. That device looked like he threw it instead of it flying out of his hand by a ghost. I just thought his machine was very weird.
