Eleonore Zugun: A case of PsychoKinesis

Eleonore Zugun. A case of PK and mental instability

Eleonore Zugun was born Talpa, Romania on May 24, 1913. By the age of 12 she was sent away to live with her grandparents in Buhai. As the story goes, she had found some money laying on the road in her village to which she decided to buy candy with. Upon hearing about her find, Eleonore’s grandmother had a fit of rage. Claiming that the money was left by “evil spirits” and that it would only bring her bad luck.

Coincidentally the next day a show of stones was hurled at her grandparents cottage. The phenomenon was so frequent that her grand mother sought help from a local priest. Upon investigation the priest witnessed a stone break through the window and land on the kitchen table. The stone was wet. Which probably meant that it was from stream a few yards away. The priest them marked the stone with a cross and threw it out the window. Seconds later the same stone was thrown back. Marked with a cross.

The reports came in of poltergeist activities like dishes breaking, Iron pieces exploding and even a school teacher reporting seeing a can of water at one end of a bench, raise up 18 inches and do a half-circle rotation before floating to the other side of the bench all without spilling a drop of water.

After months of this, Eleonore’s father sent her to the Convent of Gorovei. Priests there said prayers and held masses to help Eleonore. There was even an exorcism perform on the young girl to no avail.
Since there was nothing else anyone could do for Eleonore, she was sent away to a local asylum.

Weeks passed and the case was all over the newspapers. Upon hearing of this, a Berlin Engineer and a Psychic researcher (Fritz Grunewald) were able to persuade Eleonore’s father to extract her from the asylum and back to the Convent for further observation. Within weeks of careful observation by Fritz, much documented unexplained phenomenon occurred. Wanting to have a more controlled environment, Grunewald made arrangement to have Eleonore transfered to a local home in Berlin. Before this was to be done, Grunewald died of a heart attack. Leaving Eleonore once again with no help.

Countess Zo Wassilko-Serecki, interested in Psychic research offered to house Eleonore. It’s documented by the Countess that Psycho kinetic forces were apparent when studying Eleonore.

It’s alleged that Eleonore confessed to the countess of an incestuous (rape) event in her younger years. If this is true, we can easily say that Eleonore was in a tumultuous state and because of that we can argue that the Recurrent Spontaneous Psycho Kinesis (or RSPK) was exceptionally strong.

If RSPK exists, then we must note that in most cases of prepubescent girls (usually females are affected) that have experienced some traumatic and/or psychologically scarring events can manifest this phenomenon unwillingly. Sometimes at will.

Then there are those cases where you have an adult person (again, female is the usual gender) that has gone through some events in life that are able to manifest PK or RSPK phenomenon. The Doris Bither case comes to mind.

What is the connection between abnormal psychology and PK and/or poltergeist activity?
Can the pre-puberty chemical imbalances in the body and brain cause one’s body and mind to affect external objects? if so, how? Electrostatic fields like it was suggested with Nina Kulagina?

As far as Eleonore’s story, she was then analyzed by Harry Price and heavily documented and filmed. In one piece of footage, Price had managed to capture Eleonore’s spontaneous scratches and welts over her face, arms and hands.

She was also noted to have a underdeveloped mind for a child her age. At the time of her 13 years of age, she was compared to having the development of an 8 year old child.

Under the supervision of the countess and Harry Price, many unexplained occurrences happened to Eleonore. Objects levitated and pelted the young girl with for no apparent reason.

Eleonore reported feeling the sensation of someone biting her hand as the countess witnessed the phenomenon and the welts appeared. This “stigmata” phenomenon was witnessed by many in a controlled environment. Here is a piece of Harry Price’s footage of the spontaneous welts:

It has to be noted that almost overnight after Eleonore experienced her first menstrual cycle, the complete phenomenon seized. After that, her life continue and she lived a normal, non-eventful life.

The fact that the phenomenon stopped completely after Eleonore’s menstrual cycle gives much credence to the possibility of a strong connection between prepubescent children and Psychokinesis. Or highly disturbed adults and PsychoKinesis.
