Spirits ‘moved on’ by ghosthunters in a Wrexham home

The Paranormal group in North Wales, NorthWales Paranormal, claims to have successfully helped transition ghosts that were haunting a Wrexham home. World War one soldiers, Old lady in the bathroom and calls from children are some of the reported paranormal problems that were plaguing the home.

GHOSTHUNTERS believe they picked up a diverse range of spirits during an investigation at a large Victorian house in Wrexham.
Apart from a fussy maid, there was also a group of talkative World War One soldiers and an elderly lady using the bathroom.

All were eventually “moved on” by members of the Wrexham-based North Wales Paranormal Group.

But they are now looking for other haunted properties in the area to which they can give their expert attention.

According to group spokeswoman, Andrea Ellis, the group uses a methodical and balanced approach to spirit hunting.

Its mediums and psychics are given no prior history of the sites they visit, and use their own abilities – as well as an array of sophisticated equipment – to track down unwanted paranormal guests.

The group says it has had a series of successful vigils at homes and pubs in Wrexham.

Earlier this year, members were asked to check out a large Victorian house in the town known to have been originally occupied by a well-to-do surveyor.

Since they moved in, the present occupiers had been plagued with paranormal phenomena, such as children calling out, mysterious knocking on the ceiling and a rocking horse moving by itself. The group drafted in a team of investigators, including two mediums.

First to be detected, it says, was the ghost of a maid who had committed suicide following the death of her own baby.

She continued to move around furniture in what was now a computer room but in her day was a bedroom.

In another bedroom were three First World War soldiers who were happy to give their names.

And in the bathroom was a modest lady named Lilly who was most displeased when a medium walked in on her.

The group says it also detected the presence of the original owner, who had died from a rare throat condition in 1912 at the age of 59.

Andrea Ellis said: “We are asking Evening Leader readers who believe that their premises or homes to be haunted, and want to know about who might be haunting them, to get in touch.

“The group has very professional attitude and has three mediums included in the team. We also have a very large array of equipment used for investigating the paranormal.

“We give our mediums or psychics no information at all about the area or premises to be investigated.”

If anyone would like the group to come along and perform a vigil, they can contact Andrea Ellis or Mike Griffiths on 01978 854984.
