I have to apologize for the unexpected downtime today. Our server had some hardware problems and was down the entire day. 

I just came back from the data center where the server lives and had it back up and running in no time. I think it’s time to give GhostTheory a new home.

This server has been good to me for years, but I think its ‘end of life’ cycle is complete. I don’t expect any more disruptions to the site, but just in case I’m taking precautions and backing things up and starting to look for another suitable server.

That won’t be until sometime in the near future. Funds are low at the moment, and as you may or may not be aware, there is no money in running a large site like this. Even with banner ads running…it does not generate enough to pay for hosting and hardware.

So if you’re feeling generous…click on those ads to make us a few bucks to pay for new hardware. Or if you’re feeling really generous, donate to us by paypal!

For now, the server is stable and we will resume normal operations.
