San Antonio Bigfoot: 911 Call Released
A San Antonio woman is heard on this 911 call describing her sighting of the Bigfoot-like creature. Sounding sober and lucid, she describes this tall hairy creature “devouring” a deer carcass and trailing off while leaving an awful smell. Howling or screaming as it disappeared off into the woods. The events happened 75 feet away from the caller.
You can hear a gentleman in the background say:
“… I’ve lived in the woods for 6 years….I swear to god I’ve never seen nothing like this. I’m 6′3 and it’s bigger than me…”
Reports like these is what keeps me on the fence with certain crypto/paranormal subjects. I’ve always figured that Bigfoot would be one of the most probable cryptids to exist.

I have always been skeptical until the investigation i’m working on, and now there seems to be more reports of this possible creature coming closer to human living area’s…it’s possible!
Jeff Stewart,
Any juicy details you’d like to share about your work?

Assuming this person is not a hoaxer and is not misidentifying some sort of known primate I can see no way the North American Bigfoot is a normal flesh and blood type creature. If these sightings continue and the evidence mounts up and becomes convincing (I’m pretty sure it won’t- at least to me) I would be more open to considering far out explanations- something like a porthole to another dimension that opens up and these creatures enter our reality for a short amount of time before returning to wherever it is they came from. I know that sounds crazy and ridiculous to a lot of people who believe in Bigfoot but the idea we have a typical flesh and blood creature like Bigfoot surviving around San Antonio strikes me as being even crazier. You’ve got the food supply issues for a creature as large as Bigfoot, the problems concerning the size of the breeding population, no remains have ever been found, and most important of all it’s being seen around a city as densely populated as San Antonio!
BC,
I’ve read years and years worth of material on the subject. The consensus is that BF is migratory. So it’s not like each state has it’s own group. I suspect the migration patterns have changed this decade due to several factors not the least of which is human expansion. Furthermore if one got sidetracked or separated from the group it could end up anywhere. Especially if it were an adolescent.
I range from 50% to 70% belief. It goes up and down.
jbondo, I think there HAVE been credible Bigfoot sightings. And I think there could be something to it. However, I maintain it has to be something very bizarre- like some sort of inter-dimensional creature. There were a number of reports from PA in the 70s that involved some serious high strangeness- bigfoots seen around UFOs and that sort of thing. The problems with the idea that Bigfoot is a typical flesh and blood creature that just has not been discovered are too insurmountable in my opinion. We have no record of such a creature in the fossil record, if they are migratory and not limited to the most isolated parts of Canada/the US I would think they are even more likely to be seen, shot, hit by a car. For me it simply defies reason that we can have a population of creatures this large that are breeding, migrating, hunting, etc and they’ve remained hidden.
So far, We got what seems to be prints, they are about 20 in long, and they go on for about 1 and a 1/2 into a swamp in Northern,Vt. We will be camping out there in the late spring. and hope to have more then some tracks and a possible nest. there are some pic’s on our web site: http://www.pinewengland.org
We have found foot prints 20 in long, and the stride is about 71in toe to next heal. And they go on for about a mile into the swamp, if this was a hoax, then it’s a good one! i have always been skeptical, and i will stay that way until i see one, but i have to say, seeing the possible evidence is making me keep an open mind! there are a couple of photo’s on my site: http://www.pinewengland.org
BC,
Another consensus is that BF is a highly intelligent primate having the rationale to think and reason. Furthermore many men have had them in their sights only to not pull the trigger. As for migration, I’m not claiming that any one group migrates over an entire country. They simply go where the food is.
I’ve been hunting for over 30 year and have yet to see a bear carcass in the woods. In fact animals as commonly known as foxes are rarely seen. The forest disposes of it’s dead very quickly. Most would be shocked at just how quickly and efficiently this takes place. With a breeding population that is only a few thousand at best scattered over a continent, the odds on even seeing one of these animals take on lottesck proportions.
New species of animals are discovered every year.
Now to address that comment regarding PA in the 70’s. I grew up in NWPA in the 70’s and although I was heavily into Bigfoot and UFO’s I do not remember this “high strangeness you speak of”. Could be I’ve forgotten but it just doesn’t ring a bell.
jbondo, check out some of the work done by PA researcher Stan Gordon back then. Here’s a brief account of one fascinating case:

By the way jbondo, you mentioned you’ve been hunting for over 30 years. Ever come across anything weird, seen unusual lights in the sky, etc?
Thats’s fake! You can tell that it is a guy wearing a hunting mask! There is no way that it’s real! the other one, on the other hand, that was submitted on Dec.10 looks very realistic… that one looks real to me!
BC,
Thanks for the info!
Regarding strange things: I have experienced some strange things in the woods (mostly at night). I think I’ve mentioned some things briefly here. However I had not seen any UFO’s in the 70’s. Then again, maybe I didn’t look up enough. Frankly I have yet to see anything in the sky that I would consider a UFO.
