Great Yarmouth Ghost Scares Neighborhood

Residents from a neighborhood have all come forward to discuss the eerie sighting they’ve all witnessed on several different occasion.
Many neighbors from the residential block reported seeing a ghost of a young boy around their home. Some have seen a black figure as well.

THE spirit of a small child is believed to be haunting a row of terrace homes in Great Yarmouth.
The young boy has been seen by residents walking around the top landing of homes in Queen Anne’s Road.
One resident Louise Feller, 39, said she last heard the small child walking around a couple of weeks ago and has noticed a black shape on the top landing.
She said her neighbours had also reported seeing the mysterious figure, which does not speak.
“It is something to do with the top landing, that is where we all see it,” Louise said.

Ghosts are in fact an emotional imprint of a traumatic event. “Ghosts” are like fingerprints . . . an imprint of someone being there even though they are no longer there.
The only time I ever felt this was when I moved in with my boyfriend in a house overlooking the ocean in Pacific Palisades. It took two weeks before I understood why I would awaken with a panic attack and a terrible feeling of fear and finally I told my boyfriend, “Carl, two people were murdered in this house.” He called the landlord who promptly said I was crazy but he had just bought the house as an investment and had never lived there. Carl then asked neighbors and I was right . . . two people were murdered there but I did not see any ghosts. I felt the emotional imprint they left behind.
What people need to investigate are entities as these actually latch on to people and cause all kinds of havoc! Entities are dark emotional energies that accumulate and eventually become a form that can and do attach themselves to weak, angry, alcoholic, drug addicts etc . . .
It’s a good idea to use golden light and visualize it surrounding your entire body as a shield of protection . . .

Hi, i was born and lived in Great Yarmouth for 28 years, and i can say without any doubt that it is well and truly haunted.
I’m not sure why it has so much psychic activity, OK it is steeped in history from the Romans to lord nelson and even body snatching.
But what ever the reasons are its one strange place at night, and even during the day things happen.
These are some of the things that i and friends and family have seen or felt and sometimes herd.
When i was a baby of about 6 months old, i was up stairs in my cot when my older sister who was about 10 years old, came up to check on me.
When she came into my room she was stunned to see a strange light above my cot, it only lasted a split second but it was there.
When she told mum she was told that she must have been day dreaming.
Then when i was about 8 years old i was woken by a very bright light in my bedroom in the early hours, i remember it being out side by bedroom window and walking to the window, but that is all i remember, did i dream it i don’t think so as i remember the glass being cold on my hands and thinking what the hell is going on.
My middle school was called the priory, it was a very old monastery right next to saint Nicholas church in the towns market place.
A very strange place to be as you could feel the history of hundreds of years all around you.
As for ghosts and strange things the list was as follows.
1> The ghost in the kitchens where things would move lights go on and off.
2> The mad monk as he was named by the old caretaker ( MR Helsdon )
He would just pop up any where in the school, and would like to hide things and make lots of noise in the girls toilets.
3> The dark mist, this was the sighting of a fog like mist seen in the roof space of the great hall seen by some teachers and children, but Mr Helsdon had told us that it was the only thing that he did not like to be in the hall on his own after school.
And he was a no messing hard old man who had been at the school for many years.
This is no longer used as a school, some people have said its because of the haunting and staff not staying on when things happen.
Like i said this is just some of the things that happened around me
by the time i left this school i was about 12 years old.
A quick list of others are as follows
My girl friends house and street haunted by soldiers.
My football teams pub the white horse had a poltergeist, pool balls would suddenly jump of the table, pint glasses fly across from the bar into the wall and much more.
The old town wall lots of people have seen ghostly shapes moving along the top.
The beach where people have seen strange lights at night, when the police investigate there was nothing there, and this happens all through the winter with the same outcome.
North-gate street, monks have been seen for years crossing as if they are going in to the church yard.
The docks, people have seen old boats moored up only to go back in the morning and they are gone and on checking with the harbour master they were never there.
The thing is this is just a few of what would take me to long to tell, I’m now nearly 40 years old and live in Suffolk but Great Yarmouth is always with me in my thoughts, i hope this is of some interest to someone as i have never told or even written any of this before.

Actually, if I lived in a place with all kinds of folklore and stories attached to it, it’d only be natural to feel strangeness about or see things. In these situations I think there is a bit of psychosomatic behavior going on. If I were a young child and overheard adults talking about ghosts all the time I’d likely start seeing ghosts out of the corner of my eye. Anything that didn’t look quite right would be chalked up to spirits, etc…
