Romanek Threatens MUFON With Lawsuit
Looks like Stan Romanek (Mr. “peeping alien video“) is looking to file a lawsuit against James Carrion, MUFON international director.
Funny stuff. Remember when this was all over the news? Mr. Romanek claimed to have the best evidence of an extraterrestrial alien. Of course, not willing to release it and tried to capitalize on it.

Stan Romanek called the MUFON Office yesterday asking for MUFON’s legal department and the street address where MUFON can be “served” papers. Unfortunately, I wasn’t there to get the call.
Seems like the way you get someone to stop pointing out inconvenient facts about your claims is to threaten legal action. So Mr. Romanek, this is a message for you that I won’t have to serve through the Sheriff’s office or through a demand letter:
- In a court of law you can’t manipulate the facts like you can in the court of public opinion
- You have to swear to tell the truth
- You have to have your claims believed by a jury of your peers, not by your friends, family, and investigators you are buddies with
- You cannot withhold key evidenceSo, Stan, if you think I am going to stop pointing out the problems with your claims by threatening me with a lawsuit, you are sadly mistaken. There is nothing illegal about the truth.
Speaking of which, please feel free to post publicly the video/photo evidence that you have yet to release to the world because I have some world class photo/video experts who are dying to analyze them:
- All the ORIGINAL videos of your peeping aliens
- All the ORIGINAL photos that show you with strange “reptilian” eye transformations
- All the ORIGINAL photos/videos of all of your other otherworldly experiencesI will be happy to give you some space on my public web server to upload them and I will make them freely available to any other photo/video analyst.

MUFON FTW!!! God this guy who is sueing is as bad as Ghost hunters.. He should start his own TV show… Call it Alien Hunters where he can put all the fake evidence and all the stupid tools will eat it up… and pay him thousands of dollars for “proof” that there may be more to their misrable, pathetic trailer trash, GED ass lives.. I mean honestly you really expect us to belive that an Alien life form came light years to this planet to seek out some crazy ass inbred hillbilly? Honest to god man NO one wants to spy on you…

I’m amazed at the amount of press Stan Romanek gets with his wild claims. You know, it would be beneficial to your status if he just released the so called “proof” to be analyzed.
This is as frustrating as the “Sylvanic Bigfoot”.

Stan is not suing anyone, nor is he threatening to do so. Mr. Carrion is just causing problems where they are not needed or wanted. I think that it is just his way of staying in the public eye, nothing else James has tried to involve himself in has gotten him this much attention!!!! That’s just my opinion however. He spouts that one debunking tactic is, that if you can not attack the evidence then attack the witnesses, it is called DEBUNKING…and he is guilty of it! He does not have the evidence and will never have it, so his only option is DEBUNKING and DISCREDITING. I am sick of this twisted game of name calling and finger pointing, so this is

When one party is unwilling to provide eveidence to back up their – lets face it – outragous claims, often, in the interest of pursuing the facts one can only debunk what remains.
It is for Romanek to put up or shut up I’m afraid. At the moment he seems t want to shup up.
Has anyone who reads this blog been to a presentation given by Stan? I would recommend that you do, he shows a lot of his evidence! Go to his website http://www.stanromanek.com and look under upcoming events for a list of conferences where he will be speaking during the next 3 months.
Also, Trent Hall Media Group will be making a documentary on the Romanek case, filming will begin in February 2010. The evidence will finally be released. P.S. James Carrion resigned as International Director of MUFON on Tuesday, January 12th, 2010 but will remain until March 1st. What an interesting turn of events this is, in light of James’s recent online public display of anger towards Stan… and MUFON’s displeasure with him for his unprofessionalism? I find it very interesting indeed!!!!
As someone who has seen first-hand some of the profound events associated with the Stan Romanek case, I would suggest that those who choose to debunk get their facts straight. Analysis of all video and photography in this case will be analyzed, but by those who are completely objective about the evidence. It seems Carrion has an ax to grind, which makes him completely unsuitable to head up such an analysis. And furthermore, unless 100 percent of a particular case is presented, it makes no sense to completely dismiss a particular piece of evidence because the rest hasn’t been revealed yet. Stan Romanek has been burned on several “mainstream media” shows during which the “journalists” asking questions asked the wrong questions in order to evoke the “giggle response” about UFOs and aliens. Just because something doesn’t fit into your indoctrinated paradigm of thinking doesn’t mean it’s not real. Stan would be a fool to let someone like Carrion “analyze” his evidence. This would be akin to having the IRS do your tax returns. Not a good idea. So for all the cynics out there who like to pile on experiencers because it’s easy to do so, back off and wait until the entire story is told before casting judgment on a video that seems too good to be true.
