Paranormal Investigators Receive A Creepy Picture
Matthew Didier and Sue St.Clair’s paranormal blog was sent a chilling image.
As the story goes, a Dr. Kimberly Molto sent the paranormal duo an image in which she believes her dead husband appears.
Dr. Molto’s husband had died in their basement of a massive coronary years before the picture was taken. As always, ghostly images should be carefully analyzed and taken with a grain of salt. All we know about this is the doctor’s story and a submitted blurred image.
Interesting picture nonetheless.

This photo was shared with us over the Christmas holidays by Dr Kimberly Molto a research scientist specializing in neurobiology in Ontario. The photo was taken by a widow in 1938 who identifies the figure seen in the photo as her deceased husband. The photo was taken (according to his widow) several years after he died of a massive coronary in the basement that he had been renovating.
Please note that I cropped the photo during the scanning purpose to center the image.
This is one of those photos where you either believe the photographer’s information or you don’t. I find it to be a very interesting photograph!

No reason not to believe the good doctor, as she tells us “I have a PhD in cognitive Nuerobilology (consciousness, thought processes) I have diplomas in Parapsychology & wrote 2 books (the 2nd one was just …” http://bit.ly/cJESgV
Nuerobilology, interesting field.
Curt,
Well there is always a reason to remain skeptical. I’m not saying that the doctor is lying, or questioning if she even exists. What I’m saying is that we don’t know under what circumstances the photo was shot. Who was present in the basement and when it was shot.
Just keep an open mind…

Yea, I have to agree with Javy. Too many missing pieces to make a decision either way. Although this would definitely be an example of what I’ve often called an imprint.
Imagine this guy giving off massive energy as his heart gives out and it leaves his image burned or imprinted in the position he was right at that moment. Just a theory.
Interesting photo, but like Javier said there are too many things we don’t know about this picture. Why it was taken, the conditions at the time, camera settings, etc. Obviously there is no metadata, but I would like to see the negative as well as the pictures taken before and after this image.
I’m remaining neutral on this one. Yes it’s interesting, but I’m not going to deem it a photo of a ghost just because someone says so.
You know what convinces me that the photo itself is fake? The freakishly big, round head.
Ghost broom?
dave,
LOL. so true…..
This is why this picture is so inconclusive.

It’s a weird picture. There are elements in this picture that seem to contradict one another, such as how the feet and lower legs appear solid, and even cast off shadows, yet the upper body is translucent and casts no shadow. The upper body is blurry yet the belt buckle is sharp enough to make out. The broom appears to block part of the foot/leg of the man, yet appears translucent itself.
Trippy picture in my opinion…
Hmmm…
an interesting picture indeed,
seems like a double exposure, but then there is something about this pic that’s just well I don’t know
interesting how diff people interpret this, Like I don’t see a big round head at all, nor do I see a belt buckle and would infact say the image has his back to us also thinking a ghost rake not broom LOL…
without negatives, and sighting the original copy it’s easy to be sceptical but this pic has something about it I can’t put my finger on…
Def interesting!!
Bella
lol, ghost broom! But I will say, Mr.Didier has been around a long time! and i’m a little shock that he would post this photo on his blog,
I copied the photo to my desktop and then opened it up in Photoshop. This is not even a good hoax. By adjusting the contrast and exposure I was able to make the edges of a straight-lined cut and paste job easily visible. If it looks too good to be true, it usually is.
Why would you be taking a pic of old junk in a basement with no one in the photo? Seems a bit set up?
Dave Mace is right – a quick fiddle with the levels in this pic brings up a nice straight line running across the figure’s feet – usually evidence of a cut n paste job.
Dave, can you save that picture and send it to us I tried playing with it’s exposure/contrast and had no success in bringing out a straight-line cut.

Tony,
If its a cut and paste howcome the left ankle and part of heel is behind the broom? doese not seem posible?
Could be a longer exposure from a tripod mounted camera of a man sweeping. If he turned his waist during the exposure it would explain why his legs and feet are sharp and the upper body and broom are blurry.
