Based in Brooklyn, NY, I write about all things creepy and strange. My book based on the real haunting of Doris Bither (The Entity 1982 movie) will be released soon. Got a question? Drop me a line.

It’s starting to get really weird now. This whole “October 13th 2010” UFO thing is starting to creep me out a little…just a little.

Readers, I think by now you are aware on where I stand in regards to the NYC UFO spectacle that we observed a few days ago. To me, the most obvious answer is that the UFOs were balloons that were released in different parts of the city. Interesting enough, there were a few other reported UFO stories on that day or the subsequent days. One of those stories seems like an obvious rumor, so I decided to hold off on reporting about it. The story is about the claims that a remote village in one of China’s provinces had mysteriously disappeared during the witnessing of a UFO.

There was really no investigation or good facts given by a Chinese news agency, so all we have is just a claim that an entire village disappeared.

What I do find hard to explain is the following:

This UFO video that was shot a few days after the New York UFO video was shot in El Paso Texas. At first, what appears to be falling meteorites quickly stop in mid free-fall and hover and do other aerial maneuvers. More interestingly is what the Texas news caster points out about the objects in the video. In a formation done by these UFOs, we can see a similar alignment to one of the formations by the NYC UFO.

I still think that the NYC objects were balloons, but this video, if it’s real, shakes my initial firm believe about the NYC UFOs.

What do you make of this?

Is there a way that this new video that has surfaced been faked? Are these real UFOs?

The flare theory is very good and we really don’t know what kind of technology is at their disposal. I’m sure there is a way to come up with flare type lights that will have tails when moving at a high rate of speed but then look like dots of light after the parachutes open.

I wouldn’t let our imaginations run to far out of whack.

I was in Manhattan when the reports of the mysterious objects started coming through. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to catch the action by the time I got out of work. From the different videos and pictures I saw there were two type of objects in the sky. One was the cluster of balloon like objects, the other were the dots in the sky as pictured above. Now here’s the weird part. While driving back home to Eastern Long Island around 7pm, as I took my exit I distinctively saw a ball of light fall down from the sky and extinguish. This was exactly like the video from Texas the only difference was that it disappeared as it fell. My initial reaction was a meteor/ shooting star. However after seeing this video I am now not sure of what I saw anymore. The thing that intrigues me most is the fact that we have so much light pollution in the NYC metro areas that it’s hard to spot out many stars let alone seeing meteors.

I’m in South Australia and have just witnessed a similar scenario that is mentioned above, as in Manhatten. Earlier in the evening I witnessed a “falling star.” It caught my attention as it was larger than what is normally seen. About half an hour later I watched a white light travel across the sky and vanish. About half an hour after that I saw three orange lights moving in a wavey pattern across the sky before vanishing. I got a few photos. I also heard sounds in the air which I have never before heard in my life. Something’s going down.

I was in NYC, at 12:45 pm (nearly 2 hours before reports were being called in to FAA and news orgs)at the corner of 35th/Madison (East side),

I saw scores (if not hundreds) of orb-like objects in the sky looking west and directly overhead. I found footage from a former sighting in Mexico that matches what I saw. Past the URL into your browser and see the Mexico footage. Then scroll down to the 3rd video taken in Arizona–this image when completed MATCHES the NYC post photo taken on 10/13.

Also, everyone scroll down and have a look at the WTC footage:

It’s a pleasure to see so many people coming together, wondering together – “what the heck’s going on?” because it’s more than obvious, even to a deaf, blind person, that something is. I was thinking about opening a “weather balloon store” – I could make so much money 🙂

Sorry, correction, what I saw happened at 11:45 am

The movement appears in cuvres that follow the speed and descent a falling object towards the earth. These movement flowed. things in nature fall this way, expeciallly if they are using air drag, their rate of deceleration at the executing of parachutes is also apparent.

I didn’t read through all the posts, so I apologize if this is a repeat. But to all of the people who say air show at night? Impossible! I live in VA. I was at the air show at NAS Oceana in September. The Brits had their best of the best here. I watched them jump at night. Scared the crap outta me. I thought they were all gonna die. HOWEVER……..These are not a jump team, nor do I believe for one second it is a jump team. Even zoomed in, the team I saw (professionals) used very tiny chem-light like attachments to show where they were at. These lights are far too large, too bright, too vibrant to be anything like that. I don’t believe it. And anyone who does = naive. Plain and simple.

Maybe you should have RMPL. You would have found out that it was in fact the Army Jumping Team.
