Warning: Strong language and Nudity

Now that the warning is out of the way, welcome to another installment of Friday Video. You don’t know how happy I am that it’s Friday. I’ve had a rough week.

I hope everyone is doing well. Since the majority of us in the GT community are, in the truest meaning of the word, skeptics; I figured I would post today one of Penn & Teller’s Bullshit! episodes that deals with the paranormal. I love watching the show, but like many, I think their biased views on the subject matter at hand are a bit too close minded. The point of the show is to show how ridiculous some people’s beliefs are. In a satirical method, the show seems to marginalize the subjects into a position where they appear to really be off their rockers.

The show has had some funny moments, and has come across a lot of good points. Every now and then I think they stumble upon a subject in which they have to forcefully twist the truth and people’s perception of the subject matter in order to seem “intelligent”.

In this episode, they seem to forget that what most investigators out there are doing is trying to find answers to the mysterious claims of the paranormal. Not find ghosts! Nick Redfern is shamelessly made to look foolish by the popular Vegas duo.
