World Business Leaders To Discuss UFOs

The annual Global Competitiveness Forum that is hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is throwing a curb ball this year for their audience. A panel session will be entirely focused on what we have learned from Ufology and how we can grow in other areas with the knowledge acquired.

GCF2011 is set for January 22-25 of this year. The session entitled “Contact: Learning from Outer Space”.
Guest speakers are said to include the following five persons:

Dr. Michio Kaku
Nick Pope
Stanton Friedman
Dr. Jacques Vallee
Dr. Zaghloul El Naggar

I’m interested to hear the ideas that will be presented in this forum. The question of ‘what to do if we do make contact‘ has always been nagging mankind. Equally as important is the future of Ufology. Where is it going? Where will it take us? What can we learn from it?

PANEL SESSION (MAIN PLENARY) – 02:00 – 03:15

Contact: Learning from Outer Space

Psychological and socio-cultural assumptions and preconceptions constrain us to a large extent, and shape our views of the universe so that we are inclined to find what we are looking for, and fail to see what we are not. Using knowledge gained from research in the fields of Ufology and the search for extraterrestrial life, what might we possibly learn about hindrances to innovation in other areas of inquiry?
