Based in Brooklyn, NY, I write about all things creepy and strange. My book based on the real haunting of Doris Bither (The Entity 1982 movie) will be released soon. Got a question? Drop me a line.

One of the most popular ghost videos on the web was shot in the former Smith Building in downtown Corpus Christi, Texas. It supposedly shows the ghost of a little girl making an eerie appearance, sending the camera man and those around him running out the building.

The video was shot in 2002 and not much had been known about its origins until now. When painter Mike De La Garza came forward with proof of it all being hoaxed. His hoax.

The truth comes out a decade after. Why now? Did anyone really think this video showed the ghost of a girl? Does anyone really care?

“Did anyone really think this video showed the ghost of a girl? Does anyone really care?”

LOL, if that’s really your attitude, why bother with this website at all?

    Dung Shooken,

I meant it in rhetorical way of course. It’s not a secret that we write from a skeptical perspective.

These videos have been around for quite some time now. I’m not sure as to why people would believe a video showing a “ghost girl” is anything but a hoax. So that’s why I asked if anyone really cared if this was proven a hoax or not.

    i don’t see anything at all…

I would really like there to be an international reveal your hoax day. The top hoaxes I would like revealed are the initial black eyed kid encounter in that Texas parking lot, and Whitley Strieber’s encounters with aliens– I actually believe him but I hope they were all made up.
