Dr. Barry Taff On Coast To Coast: Poltergeists, The Entity, & UFOs

Posted by Xavier Ortega | March 9, 2013 5

My good friend Dr. Barry Taff  (doctorate in Psychophysiology with a minor in Biomedical Engineering) was on Coast To Coast with George Noory last night. If you missed the interview, you gotta listen to it here.

Most of us in the paranormal realm have either heard or read of Dr. Taff’s work. His work and dedication has put Parapsychology on the map. Especially on the subjects of Poltergeist, Cognitive, and Psychokinetic energy. Over the years our friendship has grown and I’m grateful to have learned so much from Dr. Taff. However, all of his recognition came with a heavy price that he had to pay.

Marginalized by mainstream science, Dr. Taff’s work has been heavily scrutinized by many and given very little scientific recognition. Just when they were in the brink of a major breakthrough in the 1970s, UCLA pulled the rugged under his feet (and the feet of his team) and decided to suspend all funding for research.  Cases like the San Pedro Haunting and Doris Bither’s case fell by the wayside. Read more about that here.

Dr. Taff has participated in a plethora of projects both civilian and government operated. On C2C with Noory, Dr. Taff talks about Poltergeist, hauntings, UFOs, and government conspiracies.

Listen carefully starting at the 26:00 minute mark as he gives GhostTheory.com a shout out!

If you haven’t read his book ‘Aliens above, Ghosts below‘ I highly recommend it.

The following two tabs change content below.
I'm a writer, a runner, and a hell of a coffee drinker residing in Los Angeles. I'm currently working on a book about Doris Bither and her terrifying account of a haunting in Culver City, California. The case was dubbed "The Entity" and it stands to be one of the most controversial cases ever to be studied by parapsychologists.

    “Marginalized by mainstream science” . . .

reminds me of Harley Rutledge (d. 2006), physics professor at Southeast Missouri State University.

He wrote “Project Identification: The first Scientific Study of UFO Phenomena”
    – a work worth reading on the topic of UFO’s.

Never fun being on the cutting edge of knowledge.

Never heard of it. I’ll look for the book. Sounds interesting.

Has Dr. Taff gotten his eye surgery yet? I haven’t seen any follow ups on that.

I should have posted one. My bad.

Dr. Taff was able to raise enough for the surgery. His vision is back on both eyes. Thanks to all who contributed.

Good news! I’m happy for him.
