Seer: Reverend Douglas James Cottrell

Seer: Reverend Douglas James Cottrell

Following in the footsteps of Edgar Cayce I have recently learned of the Reverend Douglas James Cottrell. Cottrell, like Cayce supposedly enters a deep meditative state, which he refers to as Deep Trance Meditation, and is able to access what some call the Akashic Records. Got that?

Akashic Records are the sum of all existence written upon “the fabric of all existence.” I would personally think written is not the proper term, possible woven or embroidered into the fabric, but it would take a lot of old ladies to do all that embroidery. Akasha comes from the Sanskrit for “sky”, or in more modern and self serving interpretations, “space” or “aether.” The concept of this record, also referred to as a library was created by the Theosophist movement founded by Madame H. P. Blavatsky. Her works were in turn based upon spiritualism coming out of India, and tailored to the popularity of occultism of Victorian England. Her works were in turn used by Adolf Hitler as a basis for  Aryanism, the foundations of the Nazi Party and excuse for murdering millions of Jews, Gypsies and others. For a reminder of that I suggest you read Scott’s article on The Darker Side of Us.

On a side note, it is just one of those quirks of history I find ironic that while origins of Gypsies are shrouded in certain amount of mystery we do know they originally came out of India only to end up being persecuted and murdered based on a distorted view of Hindu mysticism. What are you gonna do?

Back to The Rev. Cottrell.

Really, I was checking around to see if there was any new development in the Bigfoot Drama worthy of the discerning GT reader when I found mention of the origins of the species having been disclose by the good Reverend, and that disclosure just happens to be available on You Tube : ) as audio : (

Cottrell on Bigfoot

So Bigfoot were a slave race to the Atlanteans. “Beasts of burden” except the whole reason humans use quadrupeds as beasts of burden is that bipeds are not well suited to the tasks, and I guess Atlanteans had harnessed the the energies of the pyramids with all the telekinetic and teleportive powers contained therein, but still needed creatures ill suited to carrying heavy objects because they had not yet mastered the mysteries of the wheel.

Oh, but Cottrell does not limit himself to Bigfoot, there are few directions in which his trances do not take him:

On UFOs

That made sense, I am glad he is here to clear this up for us.

Life On Mars

30 billion years eh?
While it is refreshing to see a reverend who does not ascribe to the literal interpretation of the Biblical age of the Universe or the creation myth, it will certainly come as a shock to cosmologists that they are off on the age of the Universe by 16 billion years or so.

And a favorite of mine, Crystal Skulls

The crystal skulls are a number of human skull hardstone carvings made of clear or milky white quartz, known in art history as “rock crystal”, claimed to be pre-Columbian Mesoamerican artifacts by their alleged finders; however, none of the specimens made available for scientific study have been authenticated as pre-Columbian in origin. The results of these studies demonstrated that those examined might have been manufactured in the mid-19th century or later, perhaps in Europe during a time when interest in ancient culture was abundant. Despite some claims presented in an assortment of popularizing literature, legends of crystal skulls with mystical powers do not figure in genuine Mesoamerican or other Native American mythologies and spiritual accounts.

The only hold out was the first Crystal Skull, the Mitchell hedges Skull, about which stories of its discovery vary despite the fact that those stories come from the supposed discoverers themselves, and it too has finally been analyzed and found to be a fraud. Never would have guessed.

And just on the chance that he is for real, I misplaced my favorite hat a couple of years go and would really love to get it back. If anyone knows Cottrell and could ask him to let me know where it is, that would be great, thanks.
