When I find a story like this it certainly raises considerable doubts in my mind. But then there are questions on both sides here.

Houston Anthropologist Reveals Irrefutable Proof that Recorded History Is Wrong

Debbie West | Before It’s News | Nov 13th 2013

Houston anthropologist, Dr. Semir Osmanagich, founder of the Bosnian Archaeology Park, the most active archaeology site in the world, declares that irrefutable scientific evidence exists of ancient civilizations with advanced technology that leaves us no choice but to change our recorded history. An examination of the age of structures across the earth reveals conclusively that they were built by advanced civilizations from over 29,000 years ago.

“Acknowledging that we are witness to fundamental proof of advanced civilizations dating back over 29,000 years and an examination of their societal structures forces the World to reconsider its understanding of the development of civilization and history,” explains Dr. Semir Osmanagich. “Conclusive data at the Bosnian Pyramid site revealed in 2008 and confirmed this year by several independent labs who conducted radio carbon testing dates the site at 29,400 +/-400 years minimum.”

As yet there is no “irrefutable evidence,” despite the headline, what there is is a belief by people who have not yet done the work of proving their assertion, and a line of research that is based upon a preconceived conclusion rather than upon an analysis of all the evidence. Research with a preconceived conclusion tends to lead the researcher to discard information which does not support that conclusion, often contradicts it.

“The ancient people who built these pyramids knew the secrets of frequency and energy. They used these natural resources to develop technologies and undertake construction on scales we have never witnessed on earth,” said Dr. Osmanagich. Evidence clearly shows that the pyramids were built as ancient energy machines aligned with the earth’s energy grid, providing energy for healing as well as power.

And we hear this a lot, about ancient civilizations that understood energy sources we have since forgotten. What they universally fail to address is that such a high technology does not come in one step from the use of stone tools, or even early metals, and while they often point at sites like the Bosnian Pyramids, or Göbekli Tepe, or any number of other megalithic sites around the world as the results of ancients using these technologies, they always fail to demonstrate that these peoples used this technology in their daily lives, or show any evidence of the infrastructure necessary for such a culture to exist.

Take as example this video:

Here we see tunnels dug into the natural earth of the hill this presumed pyramid is said to be built upon. Now, I admit to being impressed about the concrete blocks claimed to be incorporated in the construction of this structure. But concrete is fairly simple, and was used by the Romans, so it is not so far fetched that it could have been used earlier. If these were pre-stressed concrete blocks, or even simply had rebar in them, that would be a different story. And there does seem to be enough evidence to say there is an element of artificial construction here. The construction of the tunnels on the other hand do not match the level of technology Osmanagich describes.
These modern mine tunnels, a silver min in Japan

and a gold mine

Or the tunnels built in to the Egyptian pyramids

And the excavation of an ancient highly technological culture which understood how to use the energy of the Earth and was capable of building pyramids larger than those in Egypt.

I think it bears repeating,

They used these natural resources to develop technologies and undertake construction on scales we have never witnessed on earth

From Bosnian Pyramids.Org

Under the concrete of the Pyramid of the Sun, the series of large sandstone blocks show various types of rocks (differing pebbles and cobbles), including sandy quartz limestone, when more closely analyzed. It is thought that the concrete is made from material found at a locally deposited post glacial conglomerate. Experts who examined these crystals determined that during the manufacturing process, the materials were heated to above 500 degrees. Studies done at the University of Paris discovered that the concrete material found on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun was five times stronger than modern day concrete.

When the Romans made concrete they used fly ash.

From PreCast.Org

All precast concrete producers can now use a group of materials called “fly ash” to improve the quality and durability of their products. Fly ash improves concrete’s workability, pumpability, cohesiveness, finish, ultimate strength, and durability as well as solves many problems experienced with concrete today–and all for less cost.

Yes, we are only recently starting to use fly ash again for ecological reasons and because we have “re-discovered” its strengthening properties. But it was used. It is available around volcanoes. Is it impressive that they may have used concrete in whatever construction is being unearthed? Yes it is. Is that an indication of high technology? No it is not. That the aggregate use dhad been exposed to temperatures in excess of 500 degrees is easily explained.

Information provided by Natural Resources Canada:

An average surface fire on the forest floor might have flames reaching 1 metre in height and can reach temperatures of 800°C (1,472°F) or more. Under extreme conditions a fire can give off 10,000 kilowatts or more per metre of fire front. This would mean flame heights of 50 metres or more and flame temperatures exceeding 1200°C (2,192°F).

…Can prevent Woo- Science

Back to the question of ancient High Technology. Many believers point to megalithic sites, and suppose the use of unknown energy sources in their construction. Did they use those construction techniques ONLY for the purpose of building these structures? Did they not take advantage of their concrete to build infrastructure like roads and bridges and homes? It says something about a culture, when they build these monumental structures...they want things to last. They want permanence. I see no evidence of any of this technology and knowledge coming out of any other aspect of human civilization from these times or locations.

These ancient cultures had access to unknown power sources.

Evidence clearly shows that the pyramids were built as ancient energy machines aligned with the earth’s energy grid, providing energy for healing as well as power.

What did they use that power for? Did they run vehicles? Did they light and heat their homes? We hear about recovery of organic material that sets the date of these pyramids, where are the drinking glasses? The light bulbs? The machines that were used in construction of the pyramid, or for focusing the energies used? Where are the libraries and the hospitals? For being “the most active archaeology site in the world” they honestly do not seem to be finding very much which supports Osmanagich’s claims.

I would like nothing more than the proof of various cryptids, alien civilizations, even alien visitors to be found. But that proof will come only through rigorous science and objective analysis, and by holding evidence to the highest standards of scrutiny. Born in south eastern Pennsylvania, i have found myself at one time or another living in Chicago, Cleveland, Raleigh-Durham, on the island of Kaua'i and finally landed on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. I have turned my hand to various professions from early work in 3d graphics to historic building restoration, carpentry and log home building to working in a bronze art foundry on the WWII Veterans Memorial. Currently I am a writer, script writer and working for a non profit organization called Empowerment Through Connection which is involved in equine assisted therapy for veterans, at risk teens and women.

I see your point Mr. Paterson and you address the issues raised by Mr. Osmanagich’s claims, however, you didn’t address the big question – do you believe this structure is man-made?

  • First of all, my beliefs are no better than Osmanagich’s. They are opinions only. But to answer your question, concrete does not form naturally. Nor do cut blocks of stone, nor tunnels of the nature found. Providing the information given is accurate then there is an element of human construction at this site, and I believe I did address that in discussion of the concrete used. Osmanagich’s group however is making claims on structure they have not yet excavated.

In a recent article about the Forbidden City in China they have translated texts that discuss how the largest blocks were moved, by men, by hand. There have been relatively recent discoveries about the pyramids and how blocks were moved which simplify construction greatly over previous thinking. None of it to do with mysterious energies or unknown technology.

Humans, working together with basic skills have been shown to be capable of these sorts of tasks. Stone tools have been found in South America at the ancient quarries that relate to various of their megalithic sites. The stone in the Pyramid of the sun is LImestone. Soft and easy to cut using nothing more than a harder stone as a tool. Concrete can be made on site, all you need move is the raw materials.

I am very curious to see study of these sites progress. I am serioously bothered by the fact that Osmanagich holds the only relevant degree to his study of this site from a university that has a vested interest in study of this site. I am always bothered by an investigation that has already decided on its results and is clearly interpreting data to justify those results.

My biggest concern is that due to Osmanagich’s wild assertions, a lot of people seem to dismiss a potentially history altering find at this site. Even if these concrete blocks weren’t constructed by aliens or an advanced human civilization, or hold any special magical powers, it’s mind boggling to think that humans were mixing concrete and lifting these huge blocks almost 30,000 years ago (if the carbon dating is correct). I really hope that scientist and archaelogosts around the world can just put their differences aside towards Osmanagich and just concentrate on proving whether or not humans were capable of mixing concrete and building huge stone blocks during the middle of the last ice age. Sure, the Romans and Egyptians were able to construct massive structures and mix concrete by hand, but no one ever thought that humans were capable of this feat 28,000 years before the Romans came along. If all that comes out of this exercise is to change history books to state that with stone tools humans were able to build massive concrete structures 30,000 years ago and not just hunt and gather, then that’s a big deal in itself isn’t it!? Let’s forget about energy grids and aliens for now and try and collectively prove how old these stone blocks really are!

  • I absolutely agree. It is where people like Osmanagich make the jump from “if” to baseless conclusions that the problem occurs.

I agree. However, I also think that mainstream scientists and archaelogists should go to this site and perform their own testing before making any judgments based on Osmanagich’s past crudentials. At this point it seems that everyone is stuck in 2 opposite camps. One camp believes that aliens or a highly advanced civilization created these pyramids/hills using advanced technology, while the other camp just dismisses everything as a hoax due to the lack of crudentials on Osmanagich’s part. I just wish that someone with high crudentials would take their team to this site and just inspect the top soil (at a location of their choosing) to determine the age of what’s underneath (using carbon dating), and then test whether or not the slabs underneath were constructed via concrete mixes. If they can prove without a doubt that these are man made concrete structures dating 20,000 to 30,000 years ago, then finding anything else would be icing on the cake. Even if these are just natural hills with concrete slabs constructed on top during the last ice age, this would single handedly surpass in importancy any other excavations occurring today!

  • I love the term “crudentials.”
Once you get someone like Osmangich making such far-fetched claims on pre-concluded research, right or wrong, mainstream science wants to distance itself from the subject. If they did get involved at this point, the entire site is too contaminated by unprofessional handling that any data is useless, and easily dismissible.

That is a problem with much of research into fringe topics.

I’m not sure how it’s possible to contaminate 4 large hills. There are plenty of untouched spots where several feet deep of soil samples can be dug up and inspected. Heck, even if the entire soil layer above is contaminated researchers can still date the concrete mixture used within 5 layers of concrete slabs, each a 1 meter wide. Most of the structure or natural hill is still untouched under the soil.
