Paranormal researcher visits the Columbarium

Submitted by Joe Ruiz on February 4, 2009 – 8:21 PM7 Comments | 247 views

For years people have claimed to have heard screams or seen strange things moving in the Columbarium in San Francisco, a repository for human ashes that is also home to some of the city’s founder.

The copper-domed Columbarium holds the remains and memorials of some of the city’s most prominent figures including Harvey Milk.

Paranormal researcher Patrick Doyle goes inside San Francisco’s Columbarium, home of some of the city’s founders, to search for the unseen. He shows us what is really there and what our mind thinks is there.

The Columbarium is located at 1 Loraine Court, near the intersection of Stanyan and Anza Streets, near Golden Gate Park and it is open to the public.

I personally thought this to be a very interesting video.

This guy makes valid points. Thanks for posting it!

    Good video Joe!

Not only does the guy make valid points, he pretty much shows how to make a ghost video in ten minutes. Put that amount of time to a person with an hour and you can pretty much make anything realistic. In the end it’s just more fuel to the fire against ghosts via still-framed video.

  • Nice video.

We must remember to always be skeptical to all these “ghost videos” out there on the web. No matter how convincing they seem, technology has come a long way.

that was great! i’d never heard of “haunted hoax” nor patrick doyle before – thanks for sharing this.

something tells me patrick doyle won’t be a guest expert on “paranormal state” anytime soon or…ever. though i can’t help but wonder if he works on the “ghost hunters” show, especially since he mentioned at the end that he’s going to talk about “tricks with fishing line” in an upcoming episode…

    :)

good stuff and i’m off to share it.

Hey I included a link at the end for these YoutTube videos that this guy has made. I’ve watched them all and I would have to say that he is very compelling and humoress :)

Best part about it is that he is not being a hater, he is stating the obvious when it comes to video we have all seen before, with three possible outcomes. He even decided to sit on the fence with the now infamous Ghost Hunters at Fort Delaware video.

These videos should be the first thing watched by -anyone- who wants to view paranormal footage on the internet, thereby reducing the amount of clutter posted….especially orbs :p
