Judges and Police investigate

When I wrote the article on the “Zaragoza poltergeist” I received a lot of inquiries asking for more information on this case. This has been a case that has always fascinated me. I figured I would take the original documentary done by Spain’s “Cuarto Milenio” television show on this case and translate it for you guys to enjoy.

If you haven’t read the article about the case, I suggest you do so first. Keep in mind that although this documentary is only 10 minutes long, it took me 2 days to do the video editing. I’ve never really done this before, so it was a learning experience.

So for this installment of “Friday Video” I present to you the Zaragoza Poltergeist.

You sir are a scholar and a gentlemen! Thanks for the translation Javier!

    Great job, Javier!
A really interesting story that should get more attention in the paranormal investigations world.
But it´s like if it´s not in english it doesn´t exist…
    Thanks for the translation!

Thanks Javy, you are a gentlemen and ahhh….Something similar to a gentlemen. Two complimentary words are required in a situation like this.

I will be showing this to my teens when they decide to wake up today.
It makes the whole story more interesting since no one has admitted to being involved with or knowing about it being a hoax. Thank you for taking the time to translate this story.

  • jbondo says:

After watching this video it only reinforces my opinion that it was a hoax perpetrated by someone who knew the structure so well that he was able to find a place undetectable by anyone to carry out his joke. I just see too many gaps in the investigation.

  • jbondo,

I’m with you on this one. I truly believe it was a well orchestrated hoax. It’s just that it leaves to many open-ended questions.

    Like:

    1. Why weren’t any of the government entities able to debunk it?
    2. If this was a hoax, why did it disappear as quickly as it appeared? and for what purpose?
    3. The hoaxer would have to have had a visual and audible contact with the occupants in the room. In an age before high-tech equipment, how was this done in such a heavily guarded room? Unless the hoaxer was hiding in some duct around the apartment. Than again, it’s claimed that every nook and pipe was checked.

My theory… A two-way radio. Someone might have set it up in the apartment and tricked all of the people by observing through a remote location and communicating though the two-way. For what purpose? I have no idea.

Then again, I’ve read of so many “disembodied voices” poltergeist cases that start and end in such a quick manner.

    Such and odd story.

    Javier,

Government officials were not as efficient as we might think. Being an “official” doesn’t make make you thorough.

Maybe it stopped because the battery went dead in the radio from your theory (an excellent theory by the way). Or maybe the person/s just got tired of it. Lastly, maybe the perp/s almost got caught and decided to end it.

It could have been perpetrated by 2 people. One on the inside and one on the outside.

I really like the radio theory and I’d have to pick that as fitting into this scenario.

Great job Javier ! This is so interesting, I’m going to read and watch again. A strange case to be sure.
