Ghost Enters Room Via Partially Open Door

Ghost Enters Room Via Partially Open Door

Once again, I bring you a story from my friend over at 67 Not Out, Mike Perry. This time Mike gives us something that will raise the hairs on the back of your neck.

I have to preface this by saying, Mike is not someone who’s going to fool around or try to pass something off. If you’ve spent any time at his site, you’d see that he’s one of the most honest, forthright men on the interwebs.

Today’s event actually happened to Mike personally, while staying in a 15th century cottage in the Devon village of Tawstock.

Tawstock is a village in North Devon, country of Devon. It is known for the Earl of Baths and it’s many church related monuments. It has a multitude of structures from the 14th and 15th centuries and is a very enchanting place to visit if you’re interested in Old Englishter stuff like that. For more info, go here.

While several semi-paranormal things happened there during he and his wife’s holiday, this incident is by far, the most mysterious.

I’ll let Mike take over from here:

While at the cottage – even though it dates back to the 15th century – I always felt comfortable. It had a good vibe – for want of a better description.

One night, however, Karin had gone up to bed and I was sitting on a settee looking out at the living room. For some reason I felt I should take a photo – the one above – and then a second one as below. These were taken within seconds of each other.

Maybe it’s a reflection or something, or just my imagination but in the second photo there is a blur or something by the door leading to a hallway. Not a ghost surely!

Mike then provided a close up image to which I added the red outline. I think I got pretty close to what the shape actually is.

Mike proceeds to talk about the next photo (not shown) where several “orbs” appear. However, I believe Mike was able to capture a much more interesting image with the doorway anomaly.

If I were to take a wild stab at it, I’d try to force it into the camera artefact category. That’s simply because I have no idea of what to think.

What I love about Mike, is he offers no explanations or proclamations of haunting spectre’s. He just throws it up there and lets us decide, which is exactly what I plan to do.

Now it’s up to you GT, have at it!

A major thank you to Mike at 67 Not Out for showing us the mystery in his holiday.
