Friday Video: Night of the Living Dead

Friday Video: Night of the Living Dead

OK! Now here’s one I know you can’t resist.

It’s Friday and we all know what that means, Friday Video! Friday Video! Friday….OK, whatever.

Today we bring you the chilling Zombie movie that launched em all! Night of the Living Dead.

This is a 1968 independent film directed by George Romero and starring Duane Jones and Judith O’Dea, whoever they are. Actually this movie is chuck full of people you never heard of like Kira Schon, Marylin Eastman, Karl Hardman, Jimmy Westman and Sissy Softman. OK, I made up the last two *man’s* but who cares.

As for the movie, we’re talkin cult classic and more. The story centers around 7 people who try to survive the night in a rural PA farmhouse while a Zombie Semi-Apocalypse is happening just outside their door.

So pop your popcorn, fill the Skittle bowl, fry an egg, kill your sister and snack on her gray matter, stand on your head and spit quarters, whatever it takes to prepare for the gruesome and spine tinkling:
