Mysterious Light Flashes During Traffic on Fox 10: MyFoxPHOENIX.com

Strange indeed. During the taping of the live traffic report on Fox’s Phoenix station, a bright flash was spotted in the background Highway camera.
The flash was quick and bright. Almost like an explosion. One would typically assume that some power transformer had exploded, but when FOX called to do a preliminary check, the authorities did not report any transformers down. So then, what was this weird flash?

Meteorite? Fireworks? UFOs?

PHOENIX – A bright light appeared during one of Andrea Robinson’s traffic hits Thursday morning.

Fox 10 checked with APS and Salt River Project to see if a transformer had blown, but that was not the case.

The flash appeared in the area just to the right of Andrea’s head.
